At your employer sponsored health screening you may have received a series of blood tests. These preventive screening tests were done to provide you with an internal 'snap shot' of your health.

When you receive your lab results in the mail, it is important that you review them carefully. There may be an asterisk (*) next to results that fall outside of the indicated range for your age and gender. This is known as a reference range.

For specific information regarding your lab results and what they mean, we strongly recommend that you take your results to a medical provider for a complete follow-up. Your doctor is the best person for providing you with sound medical advice and possible treatment strategies.

You can also visit Lab Tests Online to search for complete explanations of each of the tests you received. This comprehensive and reputable site is run by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC).
